The finalists for the 5th annual Marketing Excellence Awards Indonesia have been revealed, bringing together brands, campaigns and marketing teams that pushed creative boundaries, found new ways to engage audiences and delivered measurable impact.
This year’s programme reflects an industry continuing to evolve, with marketers exploring new strategies, technologies and approaches to connect with consumers. Three new categories have also been introduced for 2026: Excellence in Cultural Storytelling, Excellence in Financial Empowerment Marketing and Excellence in O2O Marketing, recognising the growing role of culture, financial literacy and the integration of online and offline experiences in marketing.
With 45 enterable categories spanning campaign strategy, creative execution, digital innovation, customer engagement and business impact, finalists will compete for gold, silver and bronze trophies across a broad range of marketing disciplines.

Selected by an independent panel of senior client-side marketers, this year’s finalists stood out for their originality, relevance and ability to deliver meaningful results.
For Shely Dianata, head of AV, marketing & demand generations, Samsung Electronics Indonesia, the entries reflected just how far the discipline has evolved.
“The awards demonstrated just how diverse and dynamic marketing has become,” she said. “Technology is no longer just an add-on. It can complement an idea, become the engine that brings it to life, or act as a catalyst that unlocks possibilities we could not have imagined before.”
Ritchie Goenawan, VP customer growth & marketing, ASTRO Indonesia, similarly found that the strongest entries were those that connected creativity with a clear business purpose.
“What separated the very best work was not simply creativity, but a strong line of sight from the problem being solved to the idea, execution and ultimately the business result,” Goenawan said.
The quality of this year’s work also made for a competitive judging process, according to Michelle Jap, head of digital marketing, MASEMA Group.
“Sorting through this year’s work is tough because so many entries are brilliantly refreshing,” she said. “They are crushing their goals while sparking fun, memorable connections with the audience.”
Andita Rasyid, VP marketing and innovation, Lemonilo, highlighted the consumer understanding behind many of the entries.
“Beyond the ideas themselves, I appreciated how they translated a clear understanding of their consumers into relevant and engaging marketing experiences,” she said. “There was a strong mix of creativity, strategic thinking, and willingness to experiment, which made the judging process both challenging and rewarding.”
The winners will be announced on 15 October 2026 at The Westin Jakarta, where Indonesia’s marketing community will come together to celebrate the campaigns, teams and individuals shaping the industry.
