Swift Mighty Meaty Hotdogs has cast Philippine actress Angelica Panganiban in a new campaign that blends nostalgia, humour and pop culture, as the brand looks to reinforce its "Siksik, sulit, at sarap" (SikSuRap) proposition for a new generation of consumers.

Created by independent agency Leron Leron Sinta, the campaign marks the brand's latest comeback effort with a film titled "Method acting", which brings together several of Panganiban's most recognisable television and film characters in a fictional "multiverse".

The campaign revives Claudia Buenavista from Pangako Sa 'Yo (2015), Stell Suarez from Beauty in a Bottle (2014), and Stef from Here Comes the Bride (2010), with each character embodying a different aspect of Swift Mighty Meaty Hotdogs' brand promise.

The creative approach leans on the growing appeal of multiverse storytelling while tapping into Filipino audiences' familiarity with Panganiban's decades-long screen career. By combining nostalgia with contemporary internet culture, the campaign aims to resonate with consumers who grew up with the brand as well as younger audiences discovering it for the first time.

"Swift wanted something campy, fun, and relatable while keeping their core message intact. We knew we needed someone who grew up with the brand for nostalgia, but can still speak to today's younger crowd - and as a former child star and pop culture icon, Angge was the perfect fit," said JC Garcia, copywriter at Leron Leron Sinta.

"Her 'Angge Multiverse' characters seamlessly bring the brand promises to life: Madam Claudia for classic Swift-Sarap, Stell for our protein-packed 'kembak', and Stef for our Sulit sa Dami promo!"

According to the agency, "Method acting" is only the beginning of the "Angge Multiverse", with further content set to follow across social media as the campaign unfolds.

From AI-powered marketing and the friction economy to retention-led growth, DMA Philippines 2026 on 29 September in Manila will bring together marketers to tackle the opportunities and challenges shaping the next phase of digital transformation.
