Starcom Australia names Adam Steward national head of digital and solutions

Starcom Australia has named Adam Steward national head of digital and solutions, effective immediately. Reporting to CEO Matt Houltham, Steward will lead the agency’s digital transformation agenda, overseeing digital, technology and analytics solutions, as well as digital innovation, data strategy and product development.

Houltham said Steward brings a strong track record in driving digital transformation and building high-performing teams.

“Adam has a proven track record in driving digital transformation for clients and building high performing digital teams,” Houltham said. “His expertise will be invaluable as we continue to enhance our digital capabilities, particularly in areas such as search, commerce, identity and consulting.”

Steward joins Starcom Australia with more than 15 years’ experience across ecommerce, performance, search and digital, most recently holding head of performance and ecommerce roles within leading media agencies.

“Starcom Australia’s ‘Focus for Growth’ positioning strongly resonated with me, as it sets a clear direction in a market demanding sharper focus and commercial impact,” Steward said. “I’m looking forward to building on their digital, data and solutions capabilities to drive results for clients.”

Based in Sydney, Steward will work closely with chief client and growth officer Scott McCaffrey and chief operating officer Louise Romeo.
