Singapore Kindness Movement (SKM) is delving into the world of fashion and with the release of an exclusive pair of shorts.
In an Instagram post, the organisation posted a photo of yellow shorts with a caption teasing the exclusive shorts to be released from 4 October online. The exclusive shorts take inspiration from curry, a local beloved dish that is a concoction of spices, herbs and vegetables, it said.
In the same post, SKM said the shorts are a testament to the true flavour of living together which ultimately fulfils encounters with family, friends and neighbours.

"Amidst diversity, the combination of our differences creates a society as colourful and unique as this heart dish. Some might even say this is the fabric of society," added SKM.
The shorts are part of SKM's yearly campaign titled "Be Greater". "Be Greater" aims to remind Singaporeans to be greater and treat others with kindness.
In addition, SKM director Michelle Tay posted a video on her LinkedIn page teasing SKM's exclusive shorts. "As we move away from traditional corporate tees, shorts represent a fresh and trendy approach to everyday situations, whether you are at work or at play," said Tay.
"In a world where kindness and inclusivity thrive, embracing casual and stylish attire is not just a fashion statement but a reflection of our diverse society," she added.
In the video, Tay is seen putting on a pair of green shorts. A group of people are seen appearing behind her and running alongside her in a line. All of whom are wearing different pairs of shorts.
In 2022, SKM unveiled kindness murals featuring different scenarios with its mascot Singa the kindness lion in Nee Soon. The murals also featured everyday Singaporeans demonstrating spontaneous acts of kindness around the neighbourhood.
Strategically placed and identified at selected HDB void decks by Nee Soon town council, the kindness murals seek to strengthen the kampung spirit that Nee Soon is uniquely known for, as well as bring positivity, cheer and opportunities for conversation starters among residents.
According to SKM, strengthening neighbourly bonds and their sense of belonging will help residents gain a higher sense of responsibility and consideration for their community. As such, with one kindness mural at a time, SKM hopes to promote greater acts of neighbourliness within every neighbourhood, leaving a mark of kindness.
Additionally, SKM has also taken to TikTok to upload digital content featuring the kindness murals, such as doing trends and dances against the backdrop of the kindness murals.
