



SAP strengthens regional voice with new SEA external communications head

SAP has named Dhyoti Basuki-Ramdhani as its new head of external communications for Southeast Asia, effective 1 June 2025. Based in Jakarta, she will drive the regional communications strategy for one of the world’s leading business AI and enterprise application providers.
In her new role, Basuki-Ramdhani is tasked with enhancing media engagement and elevating SAP’s customer success narratives across a fast-evolving and diverse regional market.
“I lead the communication strategy for the region, focusing on strengthening media relations and amplifying customer storytelling,” Basuki-Ramdhani told MARKETING-INTERACTIVE. “My work is centred on showcasing how our technologies drive meaningful impact for customers across Southeast Asia.”

She reports directly to Julia Madden, SAP’s head of communications for Southeast Asia.
Her immediate focus includes rolling out the SAP Now AI Tour Southeast Asia, an initiative designed to spotlight how SAP technologies are enabling digital transformation across industries in the region.
“Throughout 2025, I’ll be focused on elevating these stories and deepening engagement with media and stakeholders to reinforce SAP’s leadership in innovation and customer success,” she added.
SAP, founded in Germany in 1972, continues to lead the global enterprise software space, now serving over 230 million cloud users across more than 100 business solutions. The company’s S/4HANA platform integrates AI and in-memory computing to power decision-making at scale, positioning SAP as a critical player at the intersection of business and technology.
Basuki-Ramdhani brings over two decades of strategic communications and marketing experience spanning tech, FMCG, insurance, and automotive sectors. She most recently served as digital marketing and branding director for Inchcape Indonesia and marketing director at JLM Auto Indonesia, a joint venture between Indomobil Group and Inchcape plc.
Prior to that, she spent over five years at Amazon Web Services (AWS) as head of communications. Her earlier leadership roles also included VP and chief marketing communication officer at Zurich Insurance Indonesia and PR director for LINE Indonesia.
Basuki-Ramdhani also held long-standing roles at Intel, where she led public relations and digital communications, and at Frisian Flag Indonesia, where she advanced from marketing services manager to public relations manager.
