June Chow (pictured), head of corporate marketing at Samsung Singapore, has stepped down after four years with the company.
In a LinkedIn post, Chow reflected on her time at Samsung, sharing that she’s at a career transition point. As the company evolves, she’s using the opportunity to reset, reflect, and realign her focus for future growth.
With a background spanning both agency and in-house roles, Chow said she is now looking to step into a more strategic position, one that goes beyond storytelling to drive broader business impact.

“I’m open to new opportunities, particularly where I can contribute at the intersection of strategy, marketing, communications, and leadership within multinational or high-growth environments,” she added.
Before Samsung, Chow served as regional communications lead at AirAsia for a year and a half. There, she led strategic communications and brand management to support business goals and protect the company’s reputation. She advised leadership on executive communications, crafted high-impact content, and drove thought leadership efforts.
She also spearheaded campaigns to position the ASEAN super app, managed influencer and media relations, and led stakeholder engagement, including investor and sustainability communications. Chow played a role in crisis communications, integrated marketing, and establishing messaging frameworks across regional teams.
In 2018, she was regional account director at MSLGROUP, where she oversaw communications for major APAC clients such as Mondelez, AXA, Tourism Fiji, Yili China, and Nespresso. She worked closely with C-suite stakeholders, led integrated B2B and B2C campaigns, managed influencer initiatives, and oversaw execution across markets. She also led a regional team, drove talent development, and supported business operations alongside the managing director.
Prior to that, Chow was PR account director at Iris, where she led integrated campaigns for clients including LEGO, Heineken, adidas, Samsung, and Starbucks. She helped position the agency as a creative and commercial leader in the region, while also mentoring talent and driving internal PR to elevate Iris Singapore’s brand across the network.
She has also held roles at Craft Communications, Grebstad Hicks Communications, Red Dawn Communications, and WestCoast Communications.
Chow’s departure comes shortly after Samsung Electronics appointed Lynn Chong as head of marketing. In her new role, Chong will lead a cross-functional team and oversee all marketing and communications efforts for the brand’s mobile and consumer electronics divisions in Singapore. This includes integrated marketing communications, media, social, digital, PR, and brand partnerships.
