In the role, Way was leading the company's enterprise-wide digital growth agenda. The agenda included digital commerce, where he led end-to-end strategy and the execution of eRetail capabilities and digital experiences to pilot enterprise experiments. This helped to deliver its future plans. His remit also included digital acceleration, where he was in charge of orchestrating its enterprise digital and data strategy.

Way began his tenure at The Coca-Cola Company in 2013 as the senior brand manager of flavours at Coca-Cola South Pacific.

Over the years, he climbed the rungs of the company and occupied positions such as senior brand manager, marketing manager of hydration, commercial director, director of new business development, sales director of organic and raw trading as well as head of offline-to-online before being promoted to his current role.

As the head of offline-to-online, Way's focus was to build, foster and lead his high-performing team to drive the company’s digital transformation and eCommerce strategy across the region. Heading the team, his contributions were two-fold with focuses on business to consumer and business-to-business.

His gamut of skills includes social media management, sales and marketing, customer relationship management and customer experience, among others.

Prior to The Coca-Cola Company, Way was at Nestle from 2007 to 2013. He started as a sales support and then worked his way up to brand manager of KIT KAT. Throughout his seven years, he occupied various roles which included account manager and brand manager, among others.

"Though I tread bravely into the unknown, a first for more than two decades, I’m looking forward tremendously to reconnect with family and friends then excited to coming back in ‘25 for the next challenge and chapter," said Way on LinkedIn.
