Publicis JimenezBasic Philippines has appointed Maan Bautista (pictured) as executive creative director, as the agency looks to deepen its integrated and insight-led creative capabilities across the market.
She assumes the role effective immediately and will oversee the agency’s creative direction, bringing more than two decades of industry experience.
Bautista has built a reputation as one of the Philippines’ most awarded creative leaders, the agency said. Since beginning her career in 2005, she has worked across categories including FMCG, telecommunications, finance, public sector, and advocacy, leading campaigns recognised at international award shows and local industry honours.

“More than two decades in, what keeps me going hasn’t changed. It’s still the thrill of a good idea, the push to make it better, and the belief that there is always more to try,” said Bautista. “At Publicis JimenezBasic, I’m excited to build on that spirit – creating work that is not only creatively strong, but deeply grounded in insight and relevance.”
Tats Cruz, chief creative agencies officer of Publicis Groupe Philippines, said Bautista’s appointment reflects the agency network’s ongoing transformation beyond traditional advertising.
“She brings a rare blend of creative excellence and leadership aligned with how we’re transforming the agency – beyond traditional creative into integrated, data and technology-powered solutions across the Groupe,” Cruz said. “More than her track record, it’s her mindset and drive that will unlock our full capabilities and push both our teams and clients forward.”
Meanwhile, Raoul Panes, chief creative officer of Publicis Groupe Philippines and Leo Manila, said Bautista’s leadership style and creative pedigree would strengthen both the agency and the wider group.
“Maan has consistently pushed the boundaries of creativity in our industry. Her ability to build high-performing teams and deliver world-class work makes her a valuable leadership addition to Publicis JimenezBasic and Publicis Groupe Philippines,” Panes said. “We’re looking forward to the positive changes she will affect with her creative passion and energy.”
Bautista built her career across several major network agencies, holding senior creative leadership roles including executive creative director at VML, group creative director at Wunderman Thompson, creative director at McCann, and associate creative director at J. Walter Thompson.
