Nestlé Philippines crowned Marketer of the Year at Marketing Excellence Awards 2026

Nestlé Philippines emerged as the biggest winner at the 6th edition of the Marketing Excellence Awards Philippines, taking home the coveted Marketer of the Year title after a standout night of wins.
The brand dominated the awards with an impressive haul of five Gold, six Silver and two Bronze trophies, recognising a portfolio of campaigns that combined creativity, innovation and measurable business impact. Among its award-winning work were "Get pasko ready with Maggi" with OpenMind and Teads, "Tasa ng Pag-asa" with Publicis Manila, In Circle and OpenMind, "Nestea bottomless karaokathon" with VML Manila, "Suhoor" with WPP Media (OpenMind, The Goat Agency) and Publicis Manila, as well as "Unleash the ascenda effect with Spotify" with WPP Media (OpenMind).

Hot on its heels was McDonald's Philippines, which also delivered an exceptional performance with five Gold, four Silver and two Bronze trophies. Its winning campaigns showcased the brand's ability to blend technology, purpose and customer engagement, with standout work including "BACK-to-BAKuna: Building brand awareness through credible public health action" and "BACK-to-BAKuna: Improving vaccination completion through social marketing", both created alongside AHA! Behavioral Design. The brand was also recognised for "McDonald's 2 minute drive-thru challenge mobile campaign" with OMD Philippines and Wagawin, "GamiFries" with BBH Singapore and Leo Manila, and "The legendary McSpicy's comeback reignites Cravings with contextual AI on TikTok" with OMD Philippines and Silverpush.
Completing the top three was Jollibee Group, which earned four Gold, four Silver and four Bronze trophies. Winning campaigns such as "National Day of JOY" with Strategic Works, "Jollibee joy run: The gamified ecosystem that converted play into unprecedented value" with NuWorks Interactive Labs, and "From broadcast to behaviour: Reimagining customer engagement through lifecycle journeys" with Merkle Singapore highlighted the group's continued commitment to creating meaningful customer experiences through innovation.
This year's winners showcased the strength, ambition and creativity of the Philippines' marketing industry. From purpose-driven initiatives and AI-powered campaigns to bold creative ideas rooted in culture, the night's winning work demonstrated how data, technology and storytelling can come together to deliver meaningful business results.
Judged by an independent panel of senior client-side marketers, the Marketing Excellence Awards Philippines continues to recognise the campaigns, teams and organisations that are pushing the industry forward and redefining what marketing excellence looks like.
