MTR Corporation has collaborated with creative agency Cheil Hong Kong to introduce Light Rail Cutie (輕鐵妹妹), the first-ever dedicated ambassador for the Light Rail network.
Light Rail Cutie expands the MTR ambassador family, joining T-Chai (鐵仔) for MTR Service, KT Chai (機鐵仔) for Airport Express, Captain Go (高鐵隊長) for High Speed Rail, and Green T Baby (綠鐵B) for Green Services. She arrives as a vibrant cultural bridge for the Northwest New Territories.
As a member of the MTR ambassador family, Light Rail Cutie keeps her age a secret. She is the travel expert for Tuen Mun, Yuen Long, and Tin Shui Wai, and also serves as a community cultural ambassador for the area. Light Rail Cutie is cheerful, curious, and friendly. She loves helping others and chatting with locals. Her hobbies include hiking, picnicking, and finding hidden food spots. She hopes to become a travel vlogger and foodie.
Light Rail Cutie also loves exploring the city. Her hair sticks up like a pantograph to help her gather information. She loves nature and owns many green hair accessories. As a "Northwest New Territories foodie expert", she knows all the best places to eat and visit. She enjoys playing with children and always greets locals warmly on the Light Rail.
Running until June, the campaign targets passengers and residents in Tuen Mun, Yuen Long, and Tin Shui Wai. During the pre-launch phase, Light Rail Cutie made surprise appearances across the districts before her official introduction. Some citizens spotted her around town and shared it on Threads and Instagram, creating early buzz and turning the Northwest New Territories into a hot topic of discussion.
