Jollibee has opened its first airport store in Hong Kong, marking another step in the brand’s international expansion strategy as it seeks to strengthen its presence in high-traffic global travel hubs.
Located at Hong Kong International Airport (HKIA) Terminal 2, the new branch places the Filipino fast-food chain inside one of the world’s busiest aviation gateways, giving it access to millions of international travellers and transit passengers each year.
The opening reflects Jollibee’s broader effort to grow its footprint in strategic locations that offer both high visibility and strong customer traffic, helping the brand reach new audiences while reinforcing its position among overseas Filipino communities and increasingly diverse consumer groups.

“Hong Kong International Airport is an important gateway for travellers from around the world, making it a strategic location for Jollibee to bring the brand closer to new and diverse customers as we continue to expand internationally,” said Jollibee Group global CEO and president Ernesto Tanmantiong.
“We extend our appreciation to both the Jollibee global and China teams for bringing to life our first airport store in Hong Kong - an innovative and welcoming space thoughtfully designed to delight the diverse, multicultural travellers journeying through Hong Kong International Airport.”
Situated within the Food Hub before Departures on Level 7 of Terminal 2, the branch operates around the clock and introduces a travel-themed concept tailored specifically for airport customers. Its storefront is designed to resemble a giant suitcase and features destination-inspired visuals intended to showcase the brand’s growing international reach.
The store also incorporates self-service kiosks and mobile ordering capabilities, reflecting the increasing role of digital convenience in airport retail and foodservice environments, where speed and efficiency are critical for travellers.
The airport debut builds on Jollibee’s nearly three decades of operations in Hong Kong. Since opening its first outlet in Central in 1996, the brand has steadily expanded across the territory and neighbouring Macau. With the addition of the HKIA branch, Jollibee now operates 28 stores across the two markets.
The expansion comes amid continued momentum for the brand in Hong Kong. According to company-cited NielsenIQ research conducted in November 2025, surveyed Hong Kong consumers favoured Jollibee’s Chickenjoy for its crispiness and juiciness. Alongside flagship menu items such as Chickenjoy, Jolly Spaghetti and the Jollibee Chicken Sandwich, the airport branch also serves Hong Kong-exclusive offerings including Calamansi Tea Soda, developed for local tastes.
“Hong Kong continues to be an important market for Jollibee, and this airport location further demonstrates our ability to operate at a world-class standard - enabled by robust systems, a deep commitment to operational excellence, and strong teams that allow us to consistently deliver the joyful Jollibee experience wherever we are in the world,” Tanmantiong added.
The opening follows further recognition for the brand in the market. Earlier this year, Jollibee Hong Kong was named Best Quick Service Restaurant at the Foodie Forks 2026 Awards by Foodie magazine, highlighting its growing popularity among local consumers.
By establishing a presence in one of Asia’s busiest airports, Jollibee gains access to a highly international audience while reinforcing its ambitions as a globally recognised quick-service restaurant brand.
