It’s Friday lands Zeekr Australia creative account

Independent creative agency It’s Friday has been appointed creative agency of record for Zeekr Australia, launching a new brand platform for the premium electric vehicle brand.
The platform, Settle No More, will run across brand, product and retail communications, spanning integrated campaigns, content, experience, activation and digital activity.
Zeekr is looking to build its presence in Australia’s fiercely competitive EV market, now one of the fastest-growing segments in the automotive space.
VFACTS data shows EVs accounted for 16.4% of all new vehicle sales in April, or roughly one in every six cars sold, as the category continues to move into the mainstream.
“We were looking for a partner who could help us build a distinctive, premium brand in a highly competitive and rapidly evolving category,” Tony Zhou, CMO of Zeekr Australia, said.
“It’s Friday demonstrated a clear strategic vision and creative ambition that aligns with where we want to take the brand in Australia.”

The appointment gives It’s Friday a challenger automotive account as Chinese EV brands continue to put pressure on Australia’s car market, particularly across the medium SUV and premium electric segments.

It’s Friday will be responsible for brand strategy, creative development and integrated campaign execution across the Australian market.
The appointment is effective immediately, with work already underway on an upcoming campaign.
