Heller joins Ipsos with 20-plus years of experience across research, insights, advisory and business transformation.
Most recently he led the research practice at EY Oceania and brings deep client and commercial expertise and and a strong track record of helping businesses turn customer understanding into performance.
Kelly Beaver, global CEO of Ipsos, described Australia as an important market for Ipsos globally and one that is well positioned for growth.
"Erik’s appointment gives us the leadership to build on that momentum locally, while Simon’s new regional role reflects the scale of opportunity we see in audience measurement across APEC," Beaver said.
"Together, these appointments strengthen our ability to grow with pace and create greater impact across the region.”
Commenting on his new role, Heller said he was excited to be joining Ipsos at a time of real opportunity.
"There is significant potential to build on the momentum already established in Australia,” he said.
"Ipsos has an outstanding reputation for combining deep expertise, high-quality insights and a genuine understanding of the challenges facing its clients.
