Health Promotion Board crowned Marketer of the Year at Marketing Excellence Awards 2026

Health Promotion Board has taken home the coveted Marketer of the Year title at the 15th annual Marketing Excellence Awards, capping a big night with nine Gold and two Bronze trophies.
The board’s winning work tackled a wide range of public health challenges, with campaigns including “Don’t Toy With Your Life”, “I Quit Digital Campaign – Converting Micro-moments of Quit Readiness Into Action”, “Language of Support” and “Salt Buries True Flavours: One Cultural Truth, Activated Across Every Food Moment” picking up recognition for their distinct approaches to engaging audiences.
From encouraging healthier behaviours to turning cultural insights into action, the campaigns demonstrated the breadth of work being done to make public health messages more relevant, memorable and meaningful.
That breadth was reflected across nine winning categories, including Excellence in CSR / Cause Marketing, Excellence in Digital Marketing, Excellence in Integrated Marketing and Excellence in Media Strategy. Developed in partnership with Starcom and TBWA, the campaigns brought together creative thinking, strategic insight and execution to tackle some of the country's most pressing health challenges.
DBS Bank followed with a strong showing of two Gold, two Silver and four Bronze trophies across eight campaigns. Its winning work included “Transforming Businesses for the Future”, developed with Boom Media, “Live Iconic With DBS”, with Performics, and “New Realities, New Possibilities”, with Financial Times.
Subway Singapore and Standard Chartered Bank rounded out the top three, with Subway taking home three Gold and two Silver trophies, while Standard Chartered Bank secured one Gold, three Silver and four Bronze trophies.
Subway Singapore’s winning work included “Subway Signatures”, developed with Zenith, and “Triple Cheese, Yes Please!”, created in partnership with Zenith, Publicis Chemistry and AKA.
Standard Chartered Bank’s wins included “Turning pDOOH into O2O Effectiveness, Driving +42% Demand and +28.6% Value Growth”, with Dentsu Singapore and MiQ Singapore, and “Standard Chartered Achieves 82% Faster Conversions through Autonomous Performance Marketing”, with Quancast, alongside other winning campaigns.
Beyond the top three, Cathay Pacific, Sentosa Development Corporation, Grab, ShopBack, FairPrice Group and AIA Singapore were among the other brands celebrated for their standout work this year.

The Marketing Excellence Awards 2026 culminated on 1 October at a gala dinner at The Ritz-Carlton Millenia Singapore, bringing together the marketers, agencies and brands behind some of the year's most ambitious and impactful campaigns.
This year’s entries were judged by an independent jury of senior client-side marketers, with leaders from Bentley Motors, Chick-fil-A, National Gallery Singapore, Christian Dior Perfumes, Singapore Kindness Movement and The Kallang Group, among others, bringing their expertise to the judging process.
