FedEx extends Indonesia PR mandate through 2028

FedEx Indonesia has extended PRecious Communications' appointment as its public relations agency of record by 30 months, through December 2028.

This comes after what the agency described as a successful initial retainer period that delivered strong brand visibility and stakeholder engagement.

Under the expanded mandate, PRecious Communications will continue leading media relations, corporate reputation management, cross-border trade communications, community impact initiatives and executive thought leadership programmes for the logistics company.

The agency said it will build on its "glocal" communications strategy by translating FedEx's global capabilities into locally relevant narratives through customer success stories, strategic media engagement and executive visibility efforts, with a particular focus on supporting Indonesian businesses and SMEs.

During the initial phase of the partnership, PRecious Communications worked with FedEx Indonesia on strategic communications initiatives designed to strengthen engagement with media and stakeholders across key industry sectors. The agency also introduced creative storytelling approaches and insight-led communications strategies to help amplify the company's presence in the market.

Going forward, the partnership will focus on developing narratives that connect FedEx's global logistics network with the needs of Indonesian businesses as they navigate an increasingly complex international trade environment.

"This renewal reflects the confidence we have in PRecious Communications as a partner who understands our operations and the local landscape," said Garrick Thompson, managing director of FedEx Indonesia. "Indonesia's trade landscape is diverse and constantly shifting, and having a communications partner who keeps pace with that, and with our business, matters."

The renewal comes as global supply chains continue to face pressures from geopolitical uncertainty, regulatory changes and shifting trade dynamics, increasing the importance of corporate communications and stakeholder engagement strategies.

"Our clients are facing a constant stream of noise, from geopolitics and regulation to trade and tariff shifts, all of which can obscure what truly matters," said Lars Voedisch, founder and group CEO of PRecious Communications. "Securing a long-term, 2.5-year commitment from a global logistics leader like FedEx is a powerful testament to our corporate team's strategic capabilities. We look forward to deep-diving into adaptive, insights-led campaign architecture that amplifies FedEx's regional trade dominance and digital logistics innovations."

"We are incredibly proud to continue our momentum with FedEx Express Indonesia on the ground," added Radityo Prabowo, country lead, Indonesia at PRecious Communications. "Our local team remains focused on deepening media relationships, stakeholder partnerships, and elevating executive visibility across Indonesia's fast-evolving commercial sectors."

Founded in Singapore, PRecious Communications operates across Southeast Asia with offices in Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines, Thailand and Vietnam.
