Digitas Australia has appointed Jack Delmonte as executive creative director, adding the former Publicis Mojo creative to its executive leadership team.
Based in Sydney, Delmonte returns to the Publicis Groupe network after more than 15 years in the industry, where he will lead the agency's creative output alongside its data and technology capabilities.
The appointment comes as Digitas continues to position itself around connected customer experiences, bringing together media, creative, data and technology to drive business growth.
Davy Rennie, CEO of Digitas Australia, said creativity remained central to the agency's proposition.
"We believe growth is driven through Connected Experiences, creativity always has and always will play a central role in creating ideas that connect with humans," Rennie said.
He said Delmonte would work closely with the agency's intelligence and technology teams to develop ideas that were both commercially effective and culturally relevant.
Delmonte said Digitas was well positioned as the advertising industry continued to evolve.
"What impressed me most was the depth of intelligence they have around how Australians live, move and make decisions," he said.
"Pair that with an incredibly talented group of creative people, and it becomes a hard proposition to beat."
