DETERMINANT elevates style with Nicholas Tse in a journey of clarity

Hong Kong-based menswear brand DETERMINANT has tapped local artist Nicholas Tse as its brand ambassador upon the launch of its Fall Winter 2025 collection, themed "Clarity is a choice”.

Tse perfectly embodies DETERMINANT’s philosophy, showcasing the modern man’s clarity in thought, action, and self-expression, according to the release. Meanwhile, he sees the brand as a refined, classic label, with its quality serving as a testament to its value.

“What moved me about this brand is its sincerity and commitment to consistent improvement. It forgoes exaggerated marketing in favor of delivering quality products,” Tse said. This grounded and refined approach aligns with the evolution of his personal style: “With maturity, I’ve come to realise that true happiness and authenticity are rooted in comfort, practicality, and functionality.”

Taking inspiration from Tse’s multifaceted persona and diverse identities, the series categorises its collection into three core themes: “Clarity in mind", "Clarity in motion", and "Clarity in essence”. DETERMINANT is also introducing its new “Repel+” technology, which offers next-level stain resistance, allowing one to move with ease and comfort all day.

As part of the campaign, DETERMINANT has launched a video on Instagram featuring Tse, who embodies the idea that true style stems from decisive choices and focused actions amidst chaos and distractions. This aligns with the brand philosophy of blending precise, minimalist design with cutting-edge technology, infusing deep thought and purpose for those who value quality of life.

Furthermore, DETERMINANT has released key visuals and reels featuring Tse for each core theme of the collection. For example, “Clarity in mind” captures the strategic and decisive mindset of the modern man, aligning with the brand's minimalist and detail-oriented design philosophy.

Meanwhile, “Clarity in motion” represents how DETERMINANT’s collection empowers customers to move smoothly and retain a spring in their step, no matter the pace, symbolising the ability to be nimble, prepared, and ready for any challenge. “Clarity in essence” is about inner truth, effortless comfort, and unwavering confidence.

Seen here is Tse wearing the brand’s casual shirt, which highlights the comfort, easy maintenance, and versatility of the products in any situation. The casual shirt, treated with a special wash, offers a unique soft texture, making it a refined and essential choice for everyday wear. Each product is designed to help men effortlessly navigate various occasions while confidently expressing their personal style.

To celebrate the new launch, DETERMINANT is also introducing a series of eight exclusive limited edition photo cards of Tse. Each card features a QR code, allowing customers to simply scan it with their smartphone to unlock exclusive content, including high-definition photo downloads and access to a complimentary online photo booth. Starting on 13 October, customers can receive these cards with their purchase at the DETERMINANT store. Spending between HK$1,000 and HK$1,499 will entitle them to one photo card.
