CapitaLand Investment and POPPER ASIA win big at the Marketing Events Awards 2024

CapitaLand Investment triumphed as the Event Marketer of the Year at the Marketing Events Awards 2024, securing an impressive collection of four gold, three silver, and one bronze trophy. Their victory was driven by their standout campaigns: ‘CapitaLand Tales of Joyful Reunion: Dance of the Dragon’, ‘CapitaLand LGDTE: Down To Earth Clubhouse’, and ‘Embark on an Enchanted Journey at CapitaLand Malls’, executed in collaboration with agencies POPPER ASIA, TELL YOUR CHILDREN, and Fabrik Asia. They excelled in numerous categories, including Best Press / Media Event, Best Use of Omnichannel for an Event, and Best Integrated Event Campaign.

HSBC Singapore also made a significant impact, earning two gold, three silver, and four bronze trophies for their campaigns ‘HSBC Mind Athletes Campaign’ and ‘Power of Play’. The Republic of Singapore Air Force (RSAF) followed closely with their ‘Part of the Force’ campaign, which garnered one gold, two silver, and five bronze trophies.

Other noteworthy marketers included Activision Blizzard, Carlsberg Singapore, Lendlease Malaysia, Mandai Wildlife Group, Orchard Road Business Association, and Pet World Nutritions.

POPPER ASIA claimed the Event Agency of the Year title, with an impressive haul of four gold and five silver trophies across categories such as Best Consumer Event: Arts / Culture / Entertainment, Best PR-Led Event Campaign, and Best Use of Sustainability. These accolades were won for their campaigns ‘CapitaLand Dance of the Dragon’ with TELL YOUR CHILDREN and ‘CapitaLand LGDTE: Down To Earth Clubhouse’ for CapitaLand Investment, and ‘Sephora Creator Summit 2023’ with Tate Anzur for Sephora.

Resolute Communications secured second place, earning four gold trophies with their innovative campaigns ‘Rest.In.Peace Centre Horror Experience’ for PlayPan and ‘Microsoft CELA Asia Start’ for Microsoft. Close behind was Pico International, recognised for their campaigns ‘Ranger Buddies Quest’ with Media Monks for Mandai Wildlife Group, ‘You Are Your Child’s First Influencer’ for the Health Promotion Board, and ‘Navy@Vivo 2023’ for the Republic of Singapore Navy (RSN).

Other distinguished agencies included Accenture Song, Chab Agency, Denstu Creative Singapore, Idea Fabrik (Fabrik Asia), Ogilvy Singapore, and VML Singapore.
