BCM Group and IVY PR win launch brief for new eco-adventure brand Happitat

BCM Group and IVY PR have been appointed to lead the national launch of Happitat, a new Queensland-based eco-adventure brand set to open what it claims will be the world’s first cliff park in early 2026.

The agencies will handle media, PR, social and creative as part of a multi-channel campaign to introduce the brand nationally.

Happitat was founded by adventurer and former professional snowboarder Michael Neururer, whose background includes building suspension bridges, avalanche control systems and high-lines across the British Columbian mountain ranges. Neururer relocated to Australia to replicate those experiences through Happitat.

The brand’s first major attraction, opening 10 January 2026 at Binna Burra in the Gold Coast hinterland, sits 400 metres above the Numinbah Valley. The cliff park spans a cliff face and waterfall, featuring ziplines, via ferrata courses, suspension bridges, tightropes, log crossings, climbing nets and a 12-metre cantilevered platform. The site also includes a natural spring, walking tracks, a café and several viewing points.

“Our mission is to inspire individual happiness and a collective approach to conservation. A place to immerse yourself in nature, push through fear and find ‘happi’,” Michael Neururer, Happitat founder and CEO, said.

“Lukas and the team fully grasped the vision, translated it and supercharged it perfectly every step of the way. It’s given me clarity and confidence to keep pushing the limits of the experience. It’s the perfect synergy and has empowered us to create a truly one-of-a-kind destination.”

Lukas Temple, BCM Group managing director, said: “Michael has had a crystal-clear vision from the very beginning: create a brand with the sole focus of reconnecting with nature and society, by helping people find happiness through unique, nature-based activities.

“Michael and his team have created something very special, and we’re privileged to work with them on it. We have no doubt this will become a national and global tourism icon, but equally a sanctuary for locals to experience their backyard in a truly unique way.”

Located one hour from the Gold Coast, 1.5 hours from Brisbane and two hours from Byron, Happitat opened its first ticket release on 12 November.
