Former UM business director Andrew Harris has joined music and culture agency noisy as business director, as the agency looks to deepen its partnerships with media agencies and help clients stay at the forefront of music and culture.
Harris spent four years at UM Australia as creative connections director, where he led media partnerships for Lion. He also worked across major clients including Optus, ING, Energizer and Target - driving strategy, ideation and execution across brand partnerships.
Prior to UM, Harris held senior partnership and account management roles in both Sydney and London with media and content businesses such as SCA, JCDecaux and Jungle Creations. At noisy, Harris will be responsible for building partnerships and helping clients stay ahead of what’s possible in music culture.
“I’m thrilled to be joining noisy at such an exciting time, and to bring my experience in media partnerships, strategy, ideation and execution to help build on the incredible foundation already in place,” he said in a press release.
“I’m passionate about the intersection of music and culture and look forward to contributing to a team that’s authentically shaping the future of events, culture and music media.”
Harry Wilson, managing director of noisy, said music was at the heart of everything the agency does.
“Having someone with AJ’s genuine passion for music will overflow onto client campaigns,” he said. “The smart brands are realising there’s more to interacting in music culture than just putting a logo on a stage, and noisy makes that a reality.”
Harris’ appointment is effective immediately.
