Accenture Song has elevated its Australia and New Zealand media lead Melissa Fein to lead its US media business, marking a significant international move for one of Australia's senior media agency executives.
Fein will take up the US role from 1 October, shifting from leadership of the ANZ operation to one of Accenture Song's largest global markets.
The appointment puts Fein at the helm of Accenture Song's US media offering as the business continues to build out its combination of media, technology, data and creative capabilities.
Fein has led Accenture Song's media operations across Australia and New Zealand, working across the consultancy's growing media capabilities and client portfolio.
“I’m incredibly proud of what we’ve built across ANZ, and of the team that made it possible," she said.
"We set out to build a media capability that was more connected, more client-focused and more directly tied to growth. The opportunity now is to bring those learnings to the US, while continuing to collaborate with colleagues and clients across Accenture Song globally."
Accenture said Australia and New Zealand remain strategic growth markets.
Under the leadership of Accenture Song ANZ Lead Bronwyn van der Merwe and marketing lead Matt Michael, Sam Geer will lead the region’s media business going forward, supported by Chris Colter and Nick Thomas.
