Ebiquity nabs PHD Shanghai's Kyle Hong as senior client partner

Ebiquity China has onboarded Kyle Hong (pictured) as its senior client partner, effective immediately. His appointment underscores Ebiquity China’s commitment to strengthening client partnerships and driving continued growth in the region.

In this newly created role, Hong reports to Stewart Li, managing director, Ebiquity China. Covering the Greater China region including Taiwan and Hong Kong, his primary responsibilities are working closely with Li to drive China business, including enhancing our top-tier client relationships, revenue growth from existing clients, new business development and sales operations.

Hong brings with him over 20 years of leadership experience in the media agency landscape across China and Taiwan, having held senior roles at several of the world’s leading agency networks throughout his career.

Most recently, Hong served as general manager of PHD Shanghai, where he led key client service management and spearheaded new business development initiatives.

His portfolio spanned both B2C and B2B sectors, working with a diverse range of global and local brands including SAIC Volkswagen, Audi, Walmart, 3M, Siemens, Uni-President Foods, and Cisco. In this role, he also played a pivotal part in identifying and securing new business opportunities from both global and local sources.

Leveraging his sharp business acumen and close collaboration across agency offices in China, Hong was instrumental in securing significant new business wins, including Michelin, AliExpress, Swatch Group, Twinings, and Jianlibao.

Prior to his time at PHD, Hong held senior leadership positions within major agency networks including dentsu, Publicis Groupe, and WPP Media, further solidifying his reputation as a seasoned and strategic media expert.

While in Southeast Asia, Ebiquity appointed Deanson Lee as general manager for the region, reinforcing its leadership bench to meet the region’s growing demand for intelligence-led media performance solutions.

Lee joins Ebiquity from Havas Media Group, where he most recently served as managing director, Digital Havas Media Group Singapore & managing director, Arena Media Singapore.
